Finnish Love Metallers HIM are now streaming their seventh studio album Screamworks: Love in Theory and Practice on their Myspace profile. The album, which was produced by Matt Squire (The Used, All Time Low, Saosin) was recently described by frontman Ville Valo as being "the most sexual album we've ever made". Ville also added "I like the immediacy of it. There's a lot of information put in short songs and they don't let go. That was the whole vibe for me".
Screamworks: Love in Theory and Practice will be hitting stores on February 9th.

Tomorrow February 5th will be the kick off of the European tour from Chris Slade's Steel Circle. Born in Wales Chris Slade was the famous drummer of AC/DC and also of Asia and the Manfred Mann's Earth Band. He will play together with vocalist Leon Goewie (Vengeance), guitar player Keri Kelli (Alice Cooper, Warrant, Slash's Snakepit, LA Guns), bass player Robbie Crane (RATT, Vince Neil Band, Adler's Appetite) and guitar player J-Jay Bozzy (DC World). They are the ultimate all star AC/DC tribute band!

Lifehouse drummer Rick Woolstenhulme Jr. knows it’s on. The group is about to embark on a four month tour to support its latest release “Smoke and Mirrors,” the band’s fifth album, which is scheduled to be released in early March. If there’s one thing Woolstenhulme Jr. would like people to understand as Lifehouse hits the road it is seeing them live is worth the ticket price.

For the people who missed Winger during their European tour in 2009 (that includes the Lazy Rocker himself) there is good news. The band announced the second leg of the European tour dates. Winger is a American heavy metal/hard rock band formed in New York City that gained popularity during the late 1980s and early 1990s. The band's two platinum albums, Winger and In the Heart of the Young, along with charting singles "Seventeen", "Headed for a Heartbreak", and "Miles Away", put the band on the top of the charts by the early 1990s. In 2009 they released their fifth studio album "Karma".

Escape Music will release the new Hard album Time Is Waiting For No One on February 19.

 

Reckless Love, the band fronted by former Crashdiet singer H. Olliver Twisted, is set to release their self-titled debut album on February 24th. The CD will be released through Universal Music in Finland and the Baltic countries. The song Romance will be released as the third single from the upcoming album.

 
The album art for Slash’s upcoming solo CD has been revealed. Simply titled Slash, the album will be the guitarist’s first true solo work, and flaunts an enviable guest list of musicians. Ozzy Osbourne, Fergie, Kid Rock, Dave Grohl, Iggy Pop, and Adam Levine make the top of a diverse list of artists. “The idea was really simple in the beginning. These are all artists I wanted to work with – that I thought it would be amazing to do something creative and collaborative. And I was so impressed with what everyone brought to the table. They were all so committed to doing a good job, and we had a lot of fun making these songs.”
Slated for a release on EMI on April 6 in the United States, the 14-song track list along with each song’s special guest follows.

German rocker Axel Rudi Pell signed worldwide deal with SPV/Steamhammer. New studio album will be released on April 26. With an impressive 20 releases in 21 years, the Axel Rudi Pell Band counts among the most consistent, lasting and creative acts in the whole of Europe. Very few German guitarists can point to as long and successful a career as the musician from Bochum, whose unmistakable signature marks not only his characteristic guitar style, but also his compositional skills. April 26th, 2010 (Germany: April 23rd, 2010) will see the arrival of his thirteenth studio offering, The Crest, a haunting studio album featuring ten brand-new compositions. "Our fans will get just the kind of songs they have come to know and expect from me and my band," says Pell.
The Crest was recorded at W:A:T: Studios in Bochum by the tried and tested line-up consisting of Axel Rudi Pell, American vocalist Johnny Gioeli, keyboardist Ferdy Doernberg, bassist Volker Krawczak and drummer Mike Terrana. The album was produced by Axel Rudi Pell, with the engineering help of Torsten Sickert and mixed by Charlie Bauerfeind at the Mi Sueno Studios (Teneriffe) and the Twilight Hall Studios (Grefrath). The majestic cover artwork was created this time by the English artist Martin McKenna.

Season 5 American Idol finalist Chris Daughtry has come a very long way since his garage band days. With two consecutive number 1 albums to his credit and a highly successful arena outing last year, launching a second headlining arena tour seems like a natural step for the singer/guitarist. Later this spring and into the summer, that step will take Daughtry and his self-titled band into over 50 American and Canadian cities as he embarks on a rigorous tour with support from Lifehouse and Cavo.

The action kicks off in Baltimore on March 18 and carries the trio into every major market imaginable before finally wrapping up in June. Fortunately for Daughtry, life on the road is far from monotonous. “Growing up, you dream about singing one of your songs in front of a packed house,” he says. “I still get chills when we’re playing and I hear the crowd singing louder than we are.”
