The UK release of the new GUN album "Break The Silence" has been put back June 11th to July 9th. The band says: "we are sorry to make you wait that little bit longer to get your hands on the record, we wont bore you with the business side of things but doing this has opened up some exciting touring opportunities for us in the UK and Europe which we will be able to tell you about very soon, due to this change in release, we have unfortunately had to cancel shows in Nottingham on 23rd and Manchester on 24th May, these shows will be re-arranged for around the album release, the shows in Grimsby and London will go ahead on the scheduled dates."

“Break The Silence” is produced by Dave Eringa, the mastermind behind artists such as The Manic Street Preachers and Ocean Colour Scene. The collaboration resulted in a perfect balance between a modern approach and a vintage energy reminding at times of The Stooges or early Stones. The perfect sonic dress for Gun´s inspired and versatile songwriting. Not just another exercise in nostalgia, but an album that “had to be made”, made of songs that were too good not to be heard. Dutch alternative hard rockers THE NEW SHINING spent a lot of the in the studio the last 2 years resulting in a new double album "Stripped/Full Circle" planned for release at the end of May 2012. As the title says one disc will be filled with stripped down, acoustic songs, the other disc will rock like hell!

Legendary female guitar icon Lita Ford's new album Living Like A Runaway will be released June 15th in Germany, June 18 in Europe and June 19 in North America via SPV/Steamhammer. The album will be available in four configurations: a double LP, limited edition CD, standard CD and digital download. Lita Ford has teamed up with producer Gary Hoey and lyricist Michael Dan Ehmig to work on Living Like a Runaway. Together the team invested a lot of time and effort into this kick ass project: "We worked on the lyrics intensively to really give the songs a lot of meaning and that special emotional depth. I think that these are some of the best lyrics ever, period". Ford is referring to numbers such as 'Devil In My Head,' 'Hate,' and 'The Asylum' which see her bare her soul in a way which she has never done before.
