MONSTER FROM KISS TO BE RELEASED IN JUNE

Monster, the upcoming 20th studio album from Kiss, is set to be released in June of 2012. The album's title was confirmed by Kissonline.com on August 21, 2011 to be Monster. The album will be recorded at Conway Recording Studios in Hollywood, CA and being produced by the band's co-founder and lead singer Paul Stanley and co-produced by Greg Collins, as was 2009's Sonic Boom.
Paul Stanley has revealed that the album cover art will be stylistically similar to that of Destroyer, although painted by a different artist. According to an interview with lead guitarist Tommy Thayer, the band had the intention of creating an album with a slightly heavier sound than Sonic Boom, as well as recreating the vibe that existed on the band's earlier material. Similarly, Gene Simmons has likened the album to a combination of three of the band's previous albums, Destroyer, Revenge and the album's predecessor Sonic Boom.

earMUSIC, rock leg of the Hamburg, Germany, based full entertainment company Edel, is thrilled to announce the new album of THE Swedish rock supergroup, Europe. The long player, set for UK release on Monday April 30, is entitled Bag of Bones.
The new record was produced by one of the world's most prestigious producers, Kevin Shirley. No stranger to the crème de la crème of iconic rock, Shirley has produced albums for Iron Maiden, Joe Bonamassa, Black Country Communion, Black Stone Cherry and Journey. Bag of Bones features 11 brand new tracks, including the first single, Not Supposed To Sing The Blues, which will be serviced to radio this Friday, March 2nd and will be released digitally March 9.

EDEN'S CURSE ANNOUNCE NEW VOCALIST, FREE SINGLE, VIDEO & SHOWS

Eden's Curse are delighted to announce Italian vocalist Marco Sandron as the new voice of “The Curse” with the release of their brand new single and promotional video Time To Breathe.
Sandron previously sang for Italian Progressive Metal act Pathosray, who released their self-titled debut on Sensory Records in 2007, and their sophomore release Sunless Skies on Frontiers Records in 2009. That same year he also contributed lead vocals to French Symphonic Metal outfit Fairyland's Score To A New Beginning album which was released on Napalm Records.
“In true Eden's Curse fashion, we found Marco on the Internet. I was browsing through various videos on YouTube, related to some of my favourite singers, and I found a cover he recorded of a Symphony X song and simply I was blown away!” said bassist Paul Logue.
WHITESNAKE UPDATE

Whitesnake have announced the band will be on hiatus from touring throughout 2012 after completing their successful 'Forevermore World Tour'.
At this time the band plan to spend 2012 in the studio, mixing live recordings made during the 2011 tour. There are also plans to edit & mix a live in-concert DVD from the tour. Other 'Snake related projects are also in the works, including new material, though there are no definite plans to record a full studio album at this time.
Some of the band members will be keeping busy with other musical projects throughout 2012 & whitesnake.com will try to provide information related to their activities, as well as the individual member's websites.
The commercial & critical success continues with their 'Forevermore' album which is still gathering accolades & awards from around the world.
DIAMOND DAWN SIGN WITH FRONTIERS RECORDS

Frontiers Records has announced the signing of the Swedish melodic rock newcomers DIAMOND DAWN. Due later this year, the band’s debut album will be mixed by Tobias Lindell, who has previously worked with such artists as EUROPE, HARDCORE SUPERSTAR, MUSTASCH and H.E.A.T.
DIAMOND DAWN was formed in early 2011 in Gothenburg and digitally released the song “Standing As One”, which caused a great buzz in the underground scene. FM SET TO RELEASE NEW DVD "LIVE IN EUROPE" IN MARCH

2011 proved to be another phenomenal year for British rock band FM, a year which saw the band venture back out into Europe to revisit FM strongholds of years gone by. Their new DVD Live In Europe documents their exploits at major festivals such as Download and Graspop Metal Meeting, shows in Germany and Ireland opening for Journey and Foreigner and their triumphant return to Portugal sharing the stage in Lisbon with D-A-D.
With a running time of 107 minutes, Live In Europe will serve as a cherished souvenir for those fans fortunate enough to have caught FM live in 2011 and provides all their loyal fans, old and new, with an insight into the band on the road.

LINKIN PARK THIRD HEADLINER FOR PINKPOP 2012

Linkin Park lead the latest host of additions to the line-up at the Netherlands' Pinkpop Festival. Also confirmed today are The Hives, Seasick Steve, James Morrison, Mastodon, The Wombats, Keane and Racoon amongst many others.
The Cure, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band will headline, while Soundgarden and Mumford & Sons were also already confirmed. For the line-up details as available please click 'read more' or scroll down.
Pinkpop Festival is an annual rock festival held in the city of Landgraaf, 134 miles from Amsterdam, near the city of Heerlen and situated in the most South bound province of Limburg, Netherlands. It is held annually on the Whitsun weekend (Pinksteren in Dutch, hence the name), the 43nd edition will be held from Saturday 26th until Monday 28th May 2012.
The festival has a capacity of 60,000 and three days of music on three stages. Ticket prices have not yet been confirmed, expects around 150 euros, and tickets will go on sale on Saturday 3rd March 2012.

NEW GREEN RIVER ORDINANCE ALBUM OUT TODAY

"Under Fire", the latest album of Green River Ordinance is available on iTunes since today February 28, 2012. This is the third full-length studio album for the multi-talented quintet, which includes Jamey Ice (guitar, banjo, mandolin), Josh Jenkins (vocals, guitar, piano), Joshua Wilkerson (guitar, keyboard/piano, vocals), Denton Hunker (drums, percussion) and Geoff Ice (bass, vocals).
Recorded in Oklahoma and Texas, ‘Under Fire’ was co-produced by Jordan Critz, Chad Copelin and Jarod Evans and features 15 affecting, original songs. Elements of pop, rock and roots are bound together by GRO’s full-throttle energy and incredible harmonies.
“Our primary purpose was just to make the most authentic and honest music possible,” says Jamey Ice. “We also tried to push ourselves to think outside of our traditional instruments. We used all sorts of random percussive instruments and unique drums; we used banjos, mandolins, baritone guitars, 12 string guitars, upright bass, accordion, lap steel, old vintage amps and old vintage guitars. We tried to push ourselves to explore more, even if it meant forfeiting safe and traditional structure and instrumentation.”
